What the owners wanted
The existing deck on this steep, bush-edged section had failed and was no longer safe to use. The owners wanted it replaced with something that gave them a wider, more usable outdoor space and a proper connection down to the garden.
What made it specific
Steep ground and restricted access meant the old structure had to come out and the new piling go in without machine access across the section. The site also required engineered re-piling rather than a like-for-like replacement.
